Wander Tales Podcasts

Wander Tales are the stories that our students share with us about their studies and adventures away from the campus of Roanoke College. The study away programs take students as far away as Australia, Greece, Italy, Japan, Mongolia, New Zealand, among many other foreign choices in the Study Abroad program, or somewhere closer to our Salem, Virginia campus in the Study Away option. Lower on this page you can listen to some of their experiences in our Wander Tales Podcast series.

Roanoke College students are encouraged to consider a summer, a semester, or even a year, away on a study abroad experience. Let the world be your classroom!

One of the last things we want is for students to reach graduation day and think to themselves, “I learned some things, but what was it all for? It was so fast – I don’t know which of the things I learned really matter or what I can do about any of it.” Study Abroad and Study Away (within in the United States) is the easiest path to answering those questions before getting that degree and leaving Roanoke College.
